The Page Turner keeps changing to better meet your needs!

We’ve made some changes to the content and format of the Page Turner. We have familiar features you’ve come to expect: The Wire is a reflective, research-based article that merges the theory and the practice of afterschool literacy development, while the Bookshelf recommends specific books, divided by reading level, on the issue’s theme. New features are How I Did It, a practitioner’s story of successful practices, and Professional Development, a mini-course in specific strategies for developing literacy skills in afterschool settings.

We’d love your feedback on this issue. Complaints, kudos, suggestions for future topics? Please email the editor, Jan Gallagher
